The best strikers to sign in FC 27 Career Mode

SCOUTED is a magazine about youth football. Turns out, all that knowledge is pretty handy for FC 27 Career Mode, who'da thought?

We’ve picked out a few of our favourite young strikers to sign on your EA FC 27 Career Mode saves. From Christian Kofane to Brian Madjo, these are some of the best young strikers in the game.

If you are looking for older players, we have you covered, with a collection of the ten highest overall centre-forwards at the start of your save. We scout players IRL, if you're a budding Director of Football - have a browse through the rest of our website for more young players to sign.

Now, let's find some bagsmen.

Who are the best Strikers (STs) in FC 27 Career Mode?

The best strikers in EA SPORTS FC 27 Career Mode are those with the highest overall rating. Here's a handy list, including their overall at the start of the game, and their highest possible potential rating (in brackets):

  1. Kylian Mbappé - 91 (94)
  2. Erling Haaland - 91 (93)
  3. Ousmane Dembélé - 90 (92)
  4. Harry Kane - 90 (90)
  5. Lautaro Martínez - 87 (89)
  6. Julián Álvarez - 86 (89)
  7. Alexander Isak - 86 (88)
  8. Viktor Gyökeres - 86 (87)

But the highest-rated players in the game are going to cost you an absolute fortune. The magic of Career Mode is finding the next big thing on the cheap, before the blow up, and handcrafting them into one of the best players on the planet. To that end, here's our list of the real best strikers to sign: the youngsters with massive space to grow.

Now, let's get stuck into this year's list of the best strikers to sign on EA FC 27 Career Mode.

Eli Junior Kroupi

Age: 20
Position: ST; CAM
Club: AFC Bournemouth
Nation: France
Market Value: £51.5m

If you have cash to splash, make a big one with the signing of Eli Junior Kroupi. A master of the art of finding the corners, he is one of the coolest and cleanest finishers in world football.

Even before you start FC 27 Career Mode, all of his Shooting attributes are at least 80, with 86 Volleys. 85 Long Shots and 84 Shot Power really catching the eye. It shouldn't take long to get into the 90s, giving you one of the sharpest shooters in the game to lead the line or dovetail with another striker.

  • Overall: 80
  • Potential: 88
  • Potential Growth: +8

Christian Kofane

Age: 20
Position: ST
Club: Bayern 04 Leverkusen
Nation: Cameroon
Market Value: £21.0m

We love Christian Kofane because he is yet another example of the untapped talent in Africa. Just over a year after his move from Cameroon to Albacete in Spain's second tier, he caught the eye in a UEFA Champions League knockout match against Arsenal. It also further underlines how quickly clubs will move for prospects with certain attributes and of valuable profiles: tall and wiry, quick over ground, competitive in contact, getting on the end of balls in the box with feet and head.

That's exactly the sort of striker that Kroupi can dovetail with. Kofane's 84 Sprint Speed and 88 Jumping make him an excellent outlet, generating second balls out of nothing for Kroupi to pick up and loose his arrows at goal. Just thinking of putting this strike duo together makes us want to boot up a Career Mode...

  • Overall: 77
  • Potential: 86
  • Potential Growth: +9

Nicolò Tresoldi

Age: 22
Position: ST
Club: Club Brugge
Nation: Belgium
Market Value: £12.5m

Nicolò Tresoldi is a pure penalty-box poacher. Capable if needed to run the channels, you want him in the be in the box stuffing his stat sheet with shots in and around the six-yard box.

We expected to see a higher rating than 73 for Heading Accuracy, but his 83 Jumping makes up for that. 78 Positioning and 76 Finishing will also be touching the 90s if you manage to oversee his development into an 87-rated forward.

  • Overall: 75
  • Potential: 87
  • Potential Growth: +12

Mihajlo Cvetković

Age: 19
Position: ST; LW, LM
Club: RSC Anderlecht
Nation: Serbia
Market Value: £3.4m

Graduate of a very productive FK Čukarički academy, a club that places a big emphasis on home-grown talent, we included Mihajlo Cvetković in our UEFA U-17 EURO Team of the Tournament in 2024.

What stands out to this day is his relentless effort and energy to be a pest and a low centre of gravity. It's these traits that have drawn stylistic comparisons to Luis Suárez.

Still just a teenager, Cvetković is a project signing and needs to develop. But with time, you should get a nippy, jinky forward that can lead the line all on his own.

  • Overall: 70
  • Potential: 85
  • Potential Growth: +85

Brian Madjo

Age: 17
Position: ST
Club: Aston Villa
Nation: England
Market Value: £650k

Although Aston Villa have snapped him up in real life, Brian Madjo should be your go-to wonderkid striker on EA FC 27 Career Mode. At just 17 years old, he has 91 Strength (!!!) and 83 Jumping. No centre-back on the game will be able to deal with him and he's already proven to be a handful in real life with a goal against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup.

  • Overall: 65
  • Potential: 83
  • Potential Growth: +18

Winsley Boteli

Age: 20
Position: ST
Club: FC Sion
Nation: Switzerland
Market Value: £1.6m

You'll find plenty of higher-potential picks than Winsley Boteli on EA FC 27, but none will make you feel more smug in the future.

Boteli is a wizard in the penalty box with good instincts, great touch and high-level ball-striking. He started the 2026/27 season with 18 goals and assists in 15 games before the September international break. He's going to hit the mainstream in 2026/27.

79 Acceleration, 78 Sprint Speed, 75 Jumping and 70 Finishing already means that even though his Overall Rating might not jump out, he's going to be a devastating forward for most teams.

  • Overall: 65
  • Potential: 80
  • Potential Growth: +15

That's that, them's them. Those are the SCOUTED-approved best young strikers to sign for you FC 27 Career Mode save.
