Analysing Sverre Nypan to Manchester City
The Norwegian wonderkid has sealed a milestone move - but how will he fit in?

The writing’s been on the wall for a while, but now it’s official: Manchester City have signed Sverre Halseth Nypan. The deal is worth €15 million, reportedly, and Nypan has signed a contract until 2030.
For a while during the winter window it looked like Aston Villa and Arsenal were going head-to-head for the Norwegian but he’s opted for the tutelage of Pep Guardiola and companionship of Erling Haaland – and hey, who can blame him.
Sorry this one is a little late. Nypan has been a favourite of Llew’s for a long time, and we needed him to add a little context we were missing – helpfully, he was at football training when the deal was announced. Lots of Broadcast, a bit lacking of the Emergency. Here we go.
