This weekend, I made my first trip of the season to the Emirates Stadium. I am extremely confident whether you were watching from five feet away or on a five inch screen, you would’ve come away from that match knowing that Noni Madueke had whipped up a storm.
I would pay more than a penny for Morato’s thoughts. I could not believe he was playing as the wide centre back; Madueke didn’t just cook the Brazilian, he burnt him to a crisp. I don’t think my Arsenal lenses have distorted that perception, either.
